A Ride Without Motorcycle Leathers

Have you ever wished you had a good set of motorcycle leathers? I will never forget the winter of 1987. My wife and I were living on the North shore of Chicago. She was working as an elementary school teacher and I was finishing grad school. Money was tight, so a second car was out of the question. The hassle of sharing a vehicle has always been more than I can stand to end, so I began looking for some other form of cheap transportation. In those days I had yet to own a motorcycle, but I had always wanted one. While driving by the local shopping mall near our neighborhood, I noticed a motorcycle sitting near the road with a sign sign hanging off the front forks. It looked pretty small, but as the chrome glinted in the sun I found myself strangely drawn to pull over and check it out.

The bike was a 1972 Honda CB350, and for being 16 years old at the time, it was in great condition. It looked like it had been barely ridden and then tucked away in a garage somewhere. This was about 23 years ago now, so I honestly can not remember what color it was originally. I painted it metallic flake blue within the first year of owning it. To me, this bike was priceless, but I paid only $ 300 for it later that afternoon.

Now that my transportation problem was solved, I began regularly making the 20 mile commute to school. Which if you have ever been in Chicago traffic, you understand that a trip of that distance could take an hour or more. It must have bought the motorcycle in the summer because I remember how much I loved tooling around on it for the first few months. But then the temperature began to drop and the snow began to fly. I quickly learned that there is a good reason for Chicago being known as the windy city. Riding a motorcycle alongside Lake Michigan in the winter is like running naked through a meet packing plant with 100 high speed fans blowing on you. I mean it was cut you to the bone frigid!

Although I did have a full face helmet, I never seemed to have clothing that could keep the icy wind from penetrating down to my soul. I even remember forgetting my gloves one night and having to put my socks on my hands just to survive the ride home. My ankles still hurt when I think about it. Even though we now live in the south eastern United States, and you can ride nearly all year round, just thinking about those frosty mid-western motorcycle rides can send a nasty chill up my spell.

Since that time I've clocked countless miles on everything from Hondas to Harleys, and if there is one thing I have learned, it is that there is no substitute for a set of high quality motorcycle leathers. Whether you ride a crotch rocket or a big old hog, nothing beats a lined leather jacket and a broken in pair of chaps on a long cold ride. When God made cows, he really knew how to insulate them from the cold. If you are currently in the market for some new athletes, take a minute and check out the link listed below.

Strategize Your Advertising with Vinyl Graphics

Marketing and advertising campaigns have taken a new dimension with the technological changes in graphics printing and decals. Adhesives have undergone a major change in the last few years, getting better and safer to use. Earlier the major problem faced by professionals was the high level of chemicals used for application and removal of decals.
New safer, easy to apply vinyl decals have simplified the whole process, that even a layman can apply it.

Vinyl graphics in the form of stickers, banners and decals are in vogue as advertising and marketing tools. Window vinyl graphics is a preferred medium, especially for store windows, car windows and glass fronts. Mainly perforated vinyl graphics are used on glass, as it is safe and does not heat up easily, even on exposure to sunlight.

Another good area which had benefited by using vinyl graphics is the banner advertising sector. Banner graphics are often printed as photo prints with laminations, which have higher chances of curling after multiple uses. The banner stand graphics are easy to set up and transported, but used to get warped fast. With the change over to vinyl graphics, banner stands have started printing on vinyl the same photo prints with amazing results. You get the same vibrant multicolored prints with equal digital quality prints with matt finish on the vinyl, without the fear of curling and warping of the banner.

With banners and decals, vinyl is being use steadily with a rise in advertising features.
The variety available in decals is actually amazing. You have a choice in colors, shapes and sizes giving you the freedom to avail the decal as per your requirement. Decals are cheaper to use than getting wraps on vehicles, making them more popular. Adding to their popularity is the facility of new eco-friendly adhesives which can be applied faster and removed with greater ease, without using heat and chemical applications.

Vinyl decals are here to stay as the cheap effective methods of popular advertisements and an integral part of marketing strategies. You are your own master whether it is applying the decals, removing them, designing them and strategizing your campaign. Although professional auto installers are always there to help you in case needed but the dependence is over. So, market your product and target a wider section of audience with vinyl graphics . Rebuild Your Credit With A Prepaid Credit Card

It can be pretty tough when your credit is bad and it is next to impossible to get credit when you need it. Most major credit card companies will not talk to you, and a lender – well, forget about it. There is a way, though, out of the tough situation with a prepaid credit card. Here is what you can do with a prepaid credit card to help rebuild your credit score.

Need A Bad Credit Rating

One of the best things about a prepaid credit card is that it was designed for people with bad credit. In fact, that is one of the qualifications. There will not be any check on your credit rating, or your employment. Anyone can get one of these credit cards, but you will need to deposit a cash amount equal to the credit limit you want. This lets you know that it operates on a debit basis – no actual credit is given.

Get A Card That Reports To A Credit Bureau

Not many prepaid credit cards actually report to a credit bureau. That is, however, the kind of card that you want to get. While others make having cash handy, it really will not help you (or anyone with bad credit) in the long run.

Watch The Fees

Prepaid credit cards often come with a number of fees. You should compare one card with another in order to get the fewest fees. In order to get a prepaid credit card that reports to a credit bureau, you will probably have to pay an annual fee – could be as high as $ 100.

Look For Benefits

Most prepaid cards do not come with any benefits, but some do. You can get points, like on a regular credit card, that are useable for a few benefits – like free phone time, and more.

No Credit Card Abuse

Another good thing about these credit cards is that you can never go over your limit, or have to pay any late fees or interest. (Hey, this is sounding better all the time). This means that if it reports to a credit bureau, that it would be impossible to get a lower score than what you may already have with this kind of card.

Easily Put Cash On Your Card

Most prepaid cards will allow you to easily put credit on it from just about anywhere. You can even put your paycheck onto it by Direct Deposit.

Use It Like A Credit Card

A number of these prepaid credit cards can be used in the same way as a credit card. You can set up automatic bill payments, purchase things online, or over the phone. If you want this feature, however, be sure that the ad says that you can do this.

Like any other credit card, you will want to compare features and fees in order to find the best prepaid credit card for your needs. While most of them are similar, the fees vary broadly. Since no qualifications are needed, why not get the best?
